ENEA Grupo® sponsors renewable energy and technological innovation in Mostoles

The Mostoles Council’s commitment to sustainability and renewable energy has resulted today, Thursday 22 November 2012, on the signing of a cooperation agreement with ENEA Grupo®, whose headquarters is located in the Technology Park of Mostoles.

Mostoles Mayor, Daniel Ortiz, and ENEA General Manager, Sinuhé Lozano, have affixed their signatures to the agreement to promote the sector in the city. By this, ENEA Grupo® sponsors renewable energy, energy saving and efficiency, and technological innovation in Mostoles.

After the signing, Mr. Ortiz and Mr. Lozano have spent an enriching consultation session and studied a set of strategies and actions to meet this goal, in collaboration with the Department of Economy and Employment, through EMPESA, and with other important actors in the city and the region.

On the other hand, it coincides with the serious and growing commitment to sustainability in a particularly enterprising city.

According to Major words, accompanied by the Councillor for Economy, Elena Lopez, the agreement, which will not include any financial contribution by the municipality of Mostoles, “is a new focus on innovation, in this case in the energy sector”. He also added that the presence of ENEA adds value to the Business Incubator and to the business park Mostoles Technology, “a place where talent and uniqueness breathe, with the contribution of Repsol, Thyssenkrupp, IMDEA Energy, the Business Incubator and in the future, the Chamber Trade”.
