ENEA Grupo® builds “Sierra de Brezo” for Caja España

Caja España is the leading banking entity in Castilla-León (Spain) and the owner, through Caja España Obra Social, of the “Sierra de Brezo” complex, which has been built over several phases by ENEA Grupo®.

“Sierra de Brezo” belongs to the municipality of Velilla del Río Carrión (Palencia) and is the entry point to the Fuentes Carrionas Natural Park, in the Palentina Mountain.

Due to its enormous biodiversity, its privileged facilities are dedicated to training in environmental education, promotion of healthy habits and knowledge of the environment, something that has especially motivated ENEA Grupo® to participate in this project.

The building complex, which has been built with bioclimatic architecture criteria, has various facilities for multipurpose uses and includes a hostel with capacity for 200 places.

“Sierra de Brezo” occupies a 28,000 m2 farm in an environment of singular beauty, enhanced by this magnificent project in which architects and professionals from ENEA Grupo® have participated, contributing their experience in the field of sustainability.
